Lynn & Main Incorporated (Lynn & Main) was established in 2002 by Mark Lynn and Steven Main. Jeremy Brink was appointed as a director in 2003. Mark Peddie and Dalene Woodgett were appointed as directors in 2010 and Catherine Strauss in 2016.

We are a law firm specializing in the collection of distressed debt. We act principally for companies within The Shackleton Group (Shackleton Credit Management, Shackleton Risk Management & Shackleton Life) and for select financial institutions. The distressed debt which we are mandated to recover, and which we specialise in collecting, is generally that which is owed to financial institutions such as banks and other credit providers.

Lynn & Main employs 253 people including  35 specialist attorneys. We have offices in Johannesburg, Pietermaritzburg, and Umhlanga, and have representation in all of the major centres in South Africa.
